As queer young men, we grew up in a homophobic environment, seeking solace in the world of movies, where we could escape reality. The impact of the characters, stories, and scenes from certain films has been profound and enduring.

These elements form the essence of our painting series, where we've combined them in our imaginations to craft entirely new worlds brimming with captivating narratives, awaiting your discovery.

In "Forever Young," we intertwine the movies "Hocus Pocus" and "Death Becomes Her" (Isabella Rossellini as Lisle Von Rhoman and Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson), allowing our fantasies to take flight. One character yearns to retain youth and requires children to brew a magical potion, while the other sells a potion promising eternal youth. Life could be so uncomplicated, couldn't it?
