The Human Foodprint, 60 W x 60 H x 3 D cm, 3500 g, Plaster and acrylic on framed wood panel, 2016
THE HUMAN FOODPRINT series explores the meaning of art as a message courier as art is not only beauty and color but representative of our society and its flaws. The plastic packagings which carries our food are carelessly thrown away and has an enormous impact on our environment even if their life in our hands is temporary. By reproducing significant amounts of the same plaster objects and painting them individually, they become visible. Their physical presence is supposed to provoke awareness. The second part of The Human Foodprint 2 raises awareness by using all colors and no white.
All artworks are unique and original pieces created by us (Greif Lazic). They come with a signed certificate of authenticity and an official invoice.
