As queer young men growing up in a homophobic environment, movies became our refuge from reality. They left a profound impact on us, inspiring a series of paintings that blend characters, stories, and scenes from these films into new, captivating worlds.

In one of our paintings, "Contact Home," we merge the characters from "E.T." and "Contact" (Jodie Foster as Annie Wilkes and E.T.) to create a fresh narrative. Both characters seek something, and in our story, they find the help they need to achieve their goals.

These paintings aim to evoke emotions and spark the audience's imagination, offering a unique perspective on familiar faces as they embark on unforeseen journeys
