Happy Mother´s Day, MOTHER!

The connections and relationships we have with our mothers make us who we are. Some of these relationships are filled with love and some with anger and despair. Others can relate to both. The admiration for our mothers helped us often overcome the mistakes they did, and that has affected us while growing up. In an attempt to honor one of our mothers with painting her, the ambivalence and inner war, we fight in our head displayed clearly, since the artwork was on the verge of being thrown away. It, in fact, shows both sides of the relationship. The memories of warmth and love and the anger that would come up feeling left alone.
